The Yamaha digital PSR-12 Arranger was launched in 1987 as part of the long PSR series comprising well over 100 models. The Portatone series covers a wide range of needs from beginners to professionals. The PSR-12 was used by many professional musicians, including Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and George Duke. 

Details

The PSR-12 is a 2-operator FM keyboard based on the Yamaha YM3812 OPL chip.  It has a 49 keys keyboard, is polyphony with 9 voices or 6 voices with 5 drum sounds and features a built-in drum machine with 16 rhythms, a variety of 32 preset sounds, and a built-in arpeggiator. The keyboard has also  a built-in 2.5-watt mono speakers.
