The instrument

The instrument is a combination of a polyphonic string organ and a monophonic bass synthesizer. The organ consists of two identical modules that can be combined. The Elkatwin followed the Rhapsody 610 and was itself displaced by digital synthesizers.

Details

The instrument is polyphonic over the entire range of the five octaves: two divisions with 14 voices: Organ 1, Organ 2, Organ 3, Strings 16', Strings 8', Full Strings, Accordeon, Vibes, Piano 16', Piano 8', Clavichord, Guitar, Brass 1, Brass 2. The Symphonic key produces a chorus effect. All 14 voices are duplicated on layers A and B.
