The instrument
The Revox C 36 recording device was an upgrade of the B 36, which came out in 1956. The drive, tone buttons and electronics were all improved. The device met the main requirements for synchronisation, frequency band and dynamics of the later Hi-Fi standard DIN 45500 and was better than the competition. The device has 8 tubes.
