Yamaha CV-100 Clavinova Digital Piano

The instrument

The CV-100 Clavinova was launched at the same time as the CV-300 Clavinova in 1984. They initiated the Clavinova series, with which Yamaha wanted to open up a new world of sound for pianos at the beginning of the digital era for electronic musical instruments. The feature set is quite limited.

Details

The CV-100 has the following functions: Master Volume, Transposer (adaptation to different tones), Tone Selectors with Harpsichord 1, 2, 3, Piano 1, 2, 3, 4 and Celesta, Stereo Symphonic (chorus effect with imitation of a rotating loudspeaker), Brillance (changing the sound character) and Power Switch / Power-on light. A soft pedal and a damper pedal are also built in.
