The instrument

The Yamaha Electone D-60 was launched in 1977, at the height of the analogue organ era. It belongs to the Electone D series of organs, which began with the legendary D-1 in 1959, the very first Electone organ. The D series comprises around two dozen models and ends in 1983 with the D-500.
