The instrument
The PSR-6 Portatone Arranger Keyboard was launched in 1988 and was replaced by the PSR-7 in 1989. It was one of well over 100 models in the Arranger PSR series, which began in 1984 with the PSR-60 and PSR-70, among others, and included models for beginners and professional musicians alike. It followed on from the PSS Portasound series.
Details
The PSR-6 has 49 full size keys along with a mono speaker on the left, 100 sounds and 10 rhythms, melody sequencer and auto chords.
