Details
The presets are divided into two sections: contemporary sounds and General MIDI sounds. The ‘Style’ section offers techno, trip hop, jungle, drum & bass, hardcore, ragga, old skool and R&B. Each style has sections for verses and choruses. All pre-programmed styles can be transferred to the sequencer via MIDI for remixing. The sampling function allows sounds to be recorded in mono via the line input or a microphone. The maximum mono sampling time is approximately six seconds, and 12 samples can be stored in memory. The DJX has a built-in arpeggiator that automatically works in time with the auto accompaniment style setting. There are 16 styles to choose from. Also available are reverb, chorus with two chorus and two flanger effects, and DSP multi-effects with 34 effects such as reverb, chorus flanger, several EQs, auto-wahs and symphonic effects.
