Installation and performance
Wired is a simulation of emergence. Inside a dome in the BlueFactory's Grey Hall, the installation tracks the movements of the viewers. These movements activate a network of immersive audiovisual stimuli. The installation evolves digitally according to its interaction with the public.
Emergence is a spontaneous phenomenon that extends from the very fabric of our universe to the sparks of our consciousness: sketch of the planets of our solar system, dance of urban lights, swarming of an anthill, network of neurons. These examples of complex systems present new properties that cannot be attributed to the elements that compose them. The whole being greater than the sum of its parts, this is what characterizes the phenomenon of emergence.
