Electro-Harmonix DRM 32-03 Digital Rhythm Matrix

The DRM-15 is a compact drum machine in a guitar pedal format – more precisely the standard Memory Man style box. It first appeared in 1978 as the red DRM-15 version and was very soon followed in 1979 by the DRM-15, in blue, and this version, the DRM-32 in green. Apart from the colour change, the only real differences between the three models is number of patterns they host, indicated on the instrument's name. As a "Digital Rhythm Matrix" (DRM) with its selection of available rhythms and easy-access parameters to alter the sound on the fly, each pedal was meant to accompany guitarists in a variety of musical contexts, from the practice session to the live performance.

The DRM-32, for its part, 32 distinct drum patterns with the ability to strip back rhythms and drop out certain of the six instruments with the 'Delete' knob. The rhythms include sounds from a bass drum, snare drum, closed and hi-hat, congas, wood block, hand clap and cymbal. The pedal features two outputs and a separate Bass Drum out.
