In General
Mutable Instruments Elements is a single-voice modal synthesis module for Eurorack that blurs the line between physical modeling and granular texture generation. It generates sound by exciting a resonant structure (plates, strings, tubes, bowls, etc.) via one of three “exciter” sources—bowing noise, blowing noise, or percussive impulses—and passing that through a bank of 64 tuned band-pass filters.
