Moog E346A Song Producer Midi Sync Interface

The instrument

The Moog E346A Song Producer is an uncommon MIDI and sync interface designed in the mid-1980s for the Commodore 64. It served as a control hub for MIDI instruments and pre-MIDI drum machines. It allowed musicians to sync multiple devices using its MIDI and trigger outputs, making it an useful tool in the early days of digital music production. Though not widely adopted, it remains a unique example of Moog’s venture into MIDI technology.
