Yamaha TG 100 Tone Generator Vector Synthesizer

The TG 100 is a late synthesiser module of the SY and TG series with the combination of FM synthesis and AWM sampling. It has a 28-voice polyphonic AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory) sound generator with 192 ROM instrument voices and 10 drum kits. The instrument is 16-fold multitimbral and complies with the GM System Level 1 standard for playing MIDI songs.

The TG 100 was designed as a preset instrument with 64 voices in the voice bank, which can be edited, and has 64 RAM memory locations for the user voices. Digital reverb effects are also available. The device can be used as a MIDI interface for Apple and PC-compatible computers via the host computer connection. A stereo audio input is used to mix a stereo instrument with the sound of the TG 100 without an external mixer. (Source: muzines)
