Korg MR-16 Midi Rhythm Sound Unit

The instrument

The MR-16 Midi Rhythm Sound Unit is a drum computer without built-in playback or sequencer functions. It was developed exclusively for MIDI applications and can be controlled via any MIDI keyboard, a MIDI sequencer or a computer equipped with a MIDI interface. Sixteen outputs can be connected to separate mixer channels to adjust volume, tone, panning and effects independently. Built-in mixing functions allow to adjust the panning and volume of the sound sent to the stereo output jacks.
