The SP-202 Sampler is eleased in the year of 1998, it is the premier installment to the SP family, which includes the Boss SP-303 and the Roland SP-404 installments. The sampler is also a successor to Roland's MS-1 Digital Sampler.
Details
The Boss SP-202 features 8 large pads, 4 banks, two knobs and an overall display that was later improved with the Boss SP-303; 6 built-in effects including Pitch Shift, Filter 1 & 2, Time Stretch, Delay, Ring Modulation; a sampling time of 4 min. 20 sec. internally, up to 37 min. with optional 4MB SmartMedia card, and a built-in microphone. The selectable sampling level is programmable for each pad.
