In General

The Erica Synths SYNTRX II is a modern analog synthesizer inspired by the legendary EMS Synthi, reimagined for contemporary sound design and performance. Built around three high-stability oscillators, a multi-mode resonant filter, ring modulation, noise generator, and a flexible sample & hold circuit, it offers a wide palette of classic and experimental tones. Its signature feature is a digitally controlled patch matrix, replacing traditional pin patching with instant recall and precise routing of modulation and audio signals. The SYNTRX II also includes a joystick controller for expressive performance, integrated effects, external audio inputs, and CV/MIDI connectivity for seamless integration with modular and digital setups. Compared to the first SYNTRX, version II introduces improved stability, expanded modulation options, a refined filter design, and enhanced user interface, making it more versatile in both studio and live environments. Combining the unpredictability and character of vintage analog with modern reliability and programmability, the SYNTRX II stands as a unique instrument for experimental, electronic, and cinematic music creators.
