The instrument
The Giaccaglia company in Castelfidardo, which has specialised in the construction of hand organs and pianos for children since 1957, began producing electronic organs for beginners in 1972. They were distributed internationally, including by Quelle International in Germany.
Details
The Giaccaglia organ is based on transistor technology. It is equipped with automatic chord and rhythm functions. The keyboard has 51 keys and is split. The programmed voices are flute, strings, clarinet, horn, vibrato, automatic chords, and the rhythms are Latin, polka march, rock, waltz, blues and swing, which can be changed with tempo 0-4 and rhythm volume. There are connections for an expression pedal, amplifier and headphones.
